It may be that the laws in North America are more biased towards the home owner than here. IIRC, we are limited to what can go on the top of our fences legally. So your saying razor wire then, any scrote that has been to the big house will stay away!
There just fleur de lis rail heads there very common for fences and gate that can be back it from any wrought iron stockists and there not as sharp as the appear on the photoVery tidy. Think I might prefer the coach bolts to be black too. Now, I like to pointy bits at the top, but, are they legal? Some scrote will claim damages if his break-in is foiled.
What laminate did you use?I've done some panels this week to slip in to some existing concrete posts just wondered what people thought and how much they would charge for similar work
cheers rich

Don’t know what painters and decorators charge for painting.
I had not looked properly and thought it was two different styles!!!! I like both but composite for low maintenance would be my preference these daysAm I allowed to say I prefer the original ones ...
It's a plastic and bamboo compositeWhat laminate did you use?
The panels are secured to the posts on the back side with lightening bolts to stop them being lifted and yes standard 6 foot panel powder coated with a zinc undercoat for additional protectionOnly idiots would climb over? Looks like plenty of open access at the end of the fence? Slide-in panels would need extra fixings to prevent the scum from lifting the panel, propping it up and going in underneath if there was no easier entry.
Look up standard-width (6 feet/1.83m?) panel costs and add a ‘sliding in’ charge + disposal of original panels. Don’t know what painters and decorators charge for painting.
link? It's a plastic and bamboo composite
you will be lucky to get the parts for 1200 the now,
I put 3k but I have since looked up the costs and would now say 2k for those panels as a direct slip in replacement. Not seeing anything that expensive there. I would estimate materials cost at £600-£800. If those materials were more than £1k I'd be looking elsewhere.
<edit> I note nobody else is willing to put a number on it. Why is that?
