it appeared as a link on for something I was looking at on google, but I cant seem to find any details about the company of even which country there based in. The prices also seem stupidly cheap too. The item Im after is less than £25, but Im thinking its in the scam terittory due to the lack of information about them.

anyone bought off them? or even heard of them before etc.

Certainly got lots of red flags to my eye. No trading name, company name or number, no sales tax, no hint of using a 3rd party payment provider (so you'd be giving them your own credit card details).

seen a few sites like this , too good to be true prices and all images ripped off a similar site but maybe they set as bargain prices to try get you to put in card details without thinking i'd imagine.

I took one of the tortured-English phrases from the FAQ page and searched the web for it, which turned up list of dubious sites:

"Our website has created a secure transaction environment. The ordering system we used is the industry" - Google Search

Clicking on any of these produced the same style of dubious site, all with either direct credit card entry or Western Union payment details (notorious for its untraceability).

My favourites were https://www.jer-nba-sey.xyz which promised 70% off Rolex watches but was actually doing way better by offering $33,000 watches for $189, and tikishopping.ru which used the same image to describe an Adidas Yeezy, Alexander MacQueen, Balenciaga and Air Jordan shoes (all actually very different in real life).

My feeling is that there is a ripoff website toolkit that is offered for sale and people pay a few dollars for it and then customise it to varying degrees, with the intent being to drain credit cards that are entered into the site.

Definitely a case of "if it's too good to be true..."

Any website advertising items for sale which does not give actual real contact details is breaking the law in the UK. Yes, I realise this is not global, but it is the same in the US and the site is £ sterling so the lights are flashing and the alarm bells ringing.

Good on you for applying the "too good to be true" rule. Many wouldn't.

My bet, too, is that there is some location-specific complexity on these sites. I don't have a VPN so can't try it but I'd bet that if anyone in the EU went to https://czerohd.com it would display in Euros and if anyone in the US visited it, it would display in USD.
Another trick to make the site seem both generic and local to the country it's being visited from (and widen the pool of potential targets).

These days it is very difficult to find contact information on online shopping sites. I just checked several UK online stores and I could not readily find an email address, a phone number or a physical address. The "about" pages talk about how good they are and references their diversity policy - but no contact information.

You are supposed to just buy stuff, not annoy them with questions.

I just had a look at Zoro and they have a phone number and the fact it is Zoro UK Limited. I went on companies house and they list the US details for the parent company but nothing UK based. What chance have the little guys got when the large companies don't obey the rules!
Edit: They were easy to find, I failed to find the other info.

It never ceases to amaze me just how difficult it is to contact some companies, big household names are usually the worst offenders. I have all of the contact details possible, on every page of my website. I want customers to contact me, I want their business.

I bought from them because I thought it could just be a private shop, it was £60 and I was curious if PayPal protection was any good. Scam. Got instant refund
