SDS Drill

Ive bought a Bosch Blue 24V SDS drill........no tools with it so I ordered some from Toolstation........Drills and Chisels.........The drill fit and work fine but the chisels just spin round like a drill.........there are two settings and both cause the chisel to spin......never having had a SDS before I assume the chisel should not spin

To be honest I got it for £20 with a new battery.......a new knock off battery is £45........so I dont really have a use for it......Ive got a standard 24V drill which needed a new battery so I bought this just for the battery...........would be nice to know how it works though...just in case

you need a sds with rotary stop it is a seperate 3rd swich

As the chef says, it sounds like yours is for drilling only, not chiselling.

I find lidl sds drill bits and chisels good, I even have a lidl sds drill and its done well for me. It was a plumber told me to use them, he was buying chisels at three times the price and now prefers lidl. Interested to hear if youve used them or what you think.

Not sure here I have a lidl sds but plugged in to the landline so cordless may be different.
Two switches one will drill or hammer drill. Second will hammer drill or hammer so for hammer only switch one needs to be on hammer drill and switch two set to hammer only.

Actually one of mine the titan is like that also

Those Bosch 24v drills cannot be used for chiselling, drilling only!
