Has anybody got a samson angle bender?

If you need to make hot bends,I made this sleeve to slip over the jaw,just protecting the edge that takes the pressure,which I built up with a nickel chrome rod.You can see it’s been welded around the pivot,by a previous owner,then again by me,that was about 30 years ago,time flies

The ‘iron’ that forms the bend is not original on yours, mine had one with a rounded edge and one which was square, removable and could be flipped to choose which edge. I spy a basin wrench in that photo - the first tool I ever bought, no idea why, but I loved the look of it being cast iron and only £2 at my Mica Local.

Yes,I purchased it with that,it’s had a few lives,plus I’m extending said lives somewhat.
Couple of years ago ,I got a miracle bender,that lives outside,giving space for long bar bends.
