Leaf blower recomendations.

After a leaf blower for the garden back garden is 150m2 the front is pretty small but the drive way is always dusty.
question is petrol, plug in or cordless, if cordless it will be milwakee as I have the batteries.

I would have said Stihl BG85. It’s sort of industry standard. Mine is old but not used much now so not replaced it.

Now battery stuff has come on I think I’d get the Milwaukee one if I were buying again. It’s just plug and play. No worrying about wintering carbs etc. Not used the Milwaukee one but seen the dewalt and that looked adequate enough.

Nothing too big, it will blow that fake grass over the fence.

Sounds like you're dealing with dust and not leaves so for me - sweeping brush .....

If you have the knack of one a blower is like an air broom but really controlled. Plus you can fire the dust oot the drive so it goes in the road

as another plus, you can put a scaffold pipe in an oil drum and fire the blower up it and you’ve the best garden burner in the world!

Stihl do a version that can be used as a big vacuum, instead of blowing the dustncrap about it might be a plan to collect it.

Just use the premixed 2 stroke Aspen style fuel.

I have an echo blower/shredder.
It gets used quite a bit and is very versatile, even blowing fresh snow off the cars and drive.

After two petrol ones I’ve gone for a toolstation electric jobbie. It’s been the best so far and still going strong after 5 years. Gets used once every two weeks in a very big garden with plenty of leaves

I won't recommend the cheap macalister from b&q. It's cool in a ghost busters / predator kind of way as it's like a monstrous rail gun or something. Guaranteed frustration and ear-ache from better half.

Mmmmm. I found that the gravel in the garden kills the machine in suction mode. I’ve now given up on Suction mode and the machines last much longer

Yeah we have a stoned area next to a beech hedge, it drops leafs throughout the yr . The stones make a racket but not bust it yet

I use a Stihl backpack blower at work. They do the job, & obviously get quite a bit of use. If you go the backpack route though, make sure you have no flappy clothing on. Once chewed a hole in the vest/bib, when it got sucked into the intake.
