Interesting Vice

So did any of you watch mike brewers world of cars with Gene Winfield ? near the end they were doing some leading , to the left was a really strange vice ,for all you vice "enthusiasts" well worth a look .

thought the vice ists on here would be all over it stating manufacturer ,date production started blah blah blah , certainly a weird shaped thing , obviously special use design

Whilst on this subject of vices I was at a auction viewing today and there is a vice that I have not seen before. It is very long with big (as in wide) jaws and has the name Hewer DRP on the body. Google search did not come up with anything. It looks very useful and have left a bid. Anybody know anything of them?

Google search did not come up with anything. It looks very useful and have left a bid. Anybody know anything of them?

Looks like a Dawn offset vice from Cheb's screenshot? The offsets seem popular in the Antipodes, but inexplicably less so elsewhere.

Thankyou , tried the print screen, attatch then it shows what looks like a sim card ? so is there a specific file it goes to when you use print screen, appreciate the help. Arther and yup thats the vice , interesting thing ,would like to know its specific design use.

They are really, really good for holding long things vertically because the slide doesn't get in the way.

I'm doing this on a desktop runing Linux and Firefox. There's the prrint screen button on the keyboard and it's saved as a .png to my Pictures folder.

Ed China was nice to his fans at the start and fame got to him as well.

Gene Winfield is a legend in custom circles. He came over here a few years ago and worked some magic at a car show.

I normally can't stand Brewer but I can tolerate him in World of Cars as the subject matter is normally so good.
