My tin of CoppaSlip doesn't though, odd. The red rubber grease hasn't got one either. My tin of copper ease has the disc with a hole in it
I thought that disc was an additional bit of packaging to be chucked away when you opened a fresh tin
every day is a school day...
Same here, that said there are still lots of smaller grease guns used in maintenance that won’t take a grease gun cartridge.I thought self fill grease guns were a thing of the past, and the self fill discs were going the same way, last few pots I have bought haven’t had them. I Certainly wouldn’t want to go back to the old Wanner gun after twenty plus years of cartridges.
My gran used to swear by eating a spoonful of petroleum jelly daily for her joints. And nobody would read them anyway.[I'm pretty sure you wouldn't suffer from constipation, if you were brave or stupid enough...

I use my baby grease gun to give half a squirt into each head stock bearing ( it's an ancient 1943 lathe ) before the days use. Also use it for the caravan tow bar lubrication nipples . It's about a foot long , small enough to pop back in a poly bag inside a canvas bag & store it in the front locker which was handy in our six weeks Europe run around in 2008 .Same here, that said there are still lots of smaller grease guns used in maintenance that won’t take a grease gun cartridge.

My new Milwaukee grease gun has a self fill bit in the instructions. You can also spoon it in apparently.
Cartridges are a lot easier. My old Rottie used to nick them and eat them given half a chance.
My latest tub of general all purpose bearing grease purchased nearly three weeks ago from a local Motor Factors does not have the plate which is a bit of a bummer when refilling my small small levered grease gun . Happen I will make one from some 2 mm thick industrial WPM plastic
My gran used to swear by eating a spoonful of petroleum jelly daily for her joints.
I guess it's a type of grease.
Not quite but she did reach 97.Was she still doing the can-can at 85?![]()
