I have a Citroen Dispatch, if I carry anything longer than 8' I need the rear barn doors open. By doing that it partially obscures the rear lights, at 90 deg the lights are well hidden.
What do you do in that situation as its an offense to have non working or non visible rear lights?
I was thinking of getting a set of magnetic trailer lights, modify them with an adjustable L bracket & mounting them on the doors.
The other idea was to make a removable pole that fixes between the doors when open at 90 deg then hang a trailer light board to that. It would also help support the doors.
I guess anyone with a cycle carrier would have a similar problem.
