It's what other people do . When I had my pick of company cars I always chose the gold coloured ones . Vile colour but I could go 6 months before anyone at work noticed .

You can get an anti foam additive or just add a bit of vinegar to the waste tank before starting, it kills the foam just as well!

Sorry to hear this , never easy saying goodbye to a pet.He's gone.. No pain now though.
That was the easy part we knew it was time. It's very raw today. I need to do something to take my mind off him. But my get up and go has got up and gone.
I can't believe I just can't eat anything.. appetite just disappeared.

Don't just sit there start looking for the next one . In my experience of 6 dogs in 50+ years the sooner the better.

Oh no so sorry!
That's why it's so hard. I have had 5 dogs and it gets no easier but my wife is disabled we now have 2 grandsons ,one is just 6 months old.
Ironically today is my son's wedding anniversary and they went out Sunday to celebrate.
So we had them both overnight , supposed to be a happy occasion but snoopy had got worse over the weekend so the kindest decision was to call the vets. Even if I knew it would break both our hearts.
But my wife is adamant no more dogs.
. I know in my head she is right BUT I am fearful because he has been her protector for 12 years. So my heart says otherwise. That's why I am in such a mess.....

No need for sorry. We had a stabbing in the park opposite where my son lives.......put everything into perspective. I think I am hurting more for my wife as he sat in the same room as her. I am trying to be there for her without smothering her.
I walked out of the vets with him in my arms feeling a great weight off my shoulders....and I feel awful about feeling that way.

So sorry to hear about your dog.
I did my car seats and carpets with a Vax carpet washer. It did get loads of dirt out when I used the hand attachment. We've done inside carpets with it too obviously and it works well but not quite as good as when you get the professionals out with a big machine. Ours is an older model but the upright ones here are similar:

I bought one of these as they're meant to be very good, I've had it at least a year but still haven't tried it!
I need to fix my portable compressor first though.
