Grit for blasting

I bought half a ton of 0.2mm grit and half a ton of 0.5mm to do body panels.
Would recommend the 0.5mm for steel panels, but used the .2mm for ally panels.
Still trying to find a use for the used grit!
My 3hp compressor runs full time, and I need to stop now again but not an issue for me.

Length of hose is not an issue inside diameter is on the cabinet I use 3/8" rubber hose 14 quid from Screwfix for 10 m in the pit blaster I use 3/4" bore with twist loc fittings

It seems you can use used glass grit in place of sand in most cases not sure about concrete thi

I need to lay a base for an oil tank so will probably use it mixed with ballast for that

a 28 cfm comp will run nicely using a 3mm jet thenext size up is a 6mm minimum cfm is about a 75 cfm running at about 90psi

I've made concrete in an emergency using pea gravel and glass blasting grit

Some fencing contractors had knocked a cast aluminium lighting standard over breaking it's base. A quick box shutter knocked up round it while propped upright and then I found that I was out of ballast, necessity being the mother of invention, I used what I had and actually it worked rather well and is still in place.
