Yes there is - it hasn't overheated and thermally cut out.Is there any reason why the on switch doesn't illuminate orange ?
could it be down to wrong wiring ?

What’s the best replacement or upgrade to buy ? Its main uses was for rebuilding my classic Land Rover chassis etc
 but even in their unaldulterated state, they were better than the cheap stuff that is basically dumped on us by China (they're probably better than the latest stuff from SIP as well
