Shark crap spent £400 on oneI have always thought Henry is the best and most under rated vacuum cleaner you can buy. Except on carpets!
That was until I bought this.
About £15 on Amazon.
Now Henry is the best on carpets as well. The brush is awesome.
Why spend silly money on some fancy foreign cleaner when Henry does it all?
Girlfriend just returned her expensive Shark vacuum cleaner. Now uses Henry with one of these.

We have a Yorvac from Yorkleen, like a well made stainless Henry. The great thing about them is that spares are cheap from Yorkleen and still available after 30 years (in fact the design hasn't changed!).

And Henry is about £120. As discussed I always used to say an upright is better on carpets but not with this turbo brush.Shark crap spent £400 on one
I bought a Nilfisk a few years ago. It burnt out in a few weeks. Blue plastic one. OK I was using it to suck water up from the warehouse floor but that is what it is designed to do.View attachment 288307
borrowed image ,, mines exactly the same ,,, now fess up its really quite cute ..
note to self ,,, I need to get out more.
I don't think Amazon has ever been that cheap but I regularly pay more for something becasue I know I will get it next day even on a Sunday. It's all too common these days to pay £6-8 for next day delivery and then find the cutoff time is 11:00 so you don't get it for two days. Ebay is terrible for that.Amazon really isn't as cheap any more.
The link I posted is £3 cheaper also with free delivery!
Me too, I know not everyone in the same boat but avoiding next day delivery from Amazon to save £3 makes no sense at all.Yeah but I'd pay the 3 quid extra to have it next day

Trust me VERY effective!Hmm, tempted but....from experience with the ridiculous losses associated with air driven tools Vs electric (how big a compressor needed to run a die grinder Vs how big an electric motor on a corded one for example), is it really effective?
My instinct is that it'll either sap so much energy (suction then) that the vacuuming bit is poor or it'll just whirl around not actually scrubbing/brushing anything of significance. Upright cleaners have a separate and fairly substantial motor driving just the brush.
However, I've not tried one, if it really is decent, worth a go for the money.
*currently have Dyson for carpets, a broom/cloth for solid floors and and Henry for waving/poking. Be good to simplify.
When our Rayburn was pumping smoke into the kitchen Henry actually filtered it out of the air!
I had one but found every time I hoovered any tiny stone or anything it would stop dead then I’d have to strip it.
