I need to get 6 or 8 30" lengths of say 3/4" 2mm wall steel tube tapered for about 6 inches each end to around 1/2", they are for girder front forks, I have heard of it being done using a mechanical hammer and taper formers, anyone got any ideas? home built aircraft?
I have done it by slitting out a narrow V, then using jubilee clips to close it up and welding the joint,
not one of mine but looks nice, may use that style of tank as it was offered in 1911,
