My mate scored a stack of box section from where he works. Basically server racking. There's lots:
I'm assuming it's just painted or coated steel. Got a few holes along each length etc.
I'll likely take it off his hands as I have the space to store it and can get the nephews flat bed trannie.
Now then...aside from the the steel SWMBO happens to want a garden arbor. We've a couple of honeysuckle and clematis that need training up something. The old timber one at the top of these steps rotted away and fell over. It's all now lying flat across the steps.
I'm thinking this box section would do. However...there'd be no way of repainting the frame every year that'd rust over time. Galvanised would be best I know. Or is there some super tough paint that might work.
