Mini digger bushes and pins

Got to the stage where I would very much like to replace a few bushes and pins on my digger, powerfab 1200xd.

Only problem is they are a weird size! 32mm bore, standard is 30 or 35mm..

Contacted a few places including digbits and computer says no, did find somewhere in the Czech Republic that stocks 32mm, but not very handy.
Anyway, I have a lathe, the bushes are supposed to be hardened but would en24 suffice? Maybe en8 or en16 for the pin? Its not going to be on a job site day after day, thoughts..

I’m pretty sure I keep 32mm bushings on the shelf, il check when I’m back at the yard tonight.

It's En16t for the pins on all Powerfab excavators.

I did similar a few years ago, I used old hydraulic rams as stock for the pins and bushes.

It's what I had lying around, the pins and bushes were very badly worn, it wasn't going to get much use, and it was going to be left outside up here.

That would be handy! As far as I can measure without removing/destroying them they are 32mm ID
36mm OD
36mm length
Not much meat in them

It's En16t for the pins on all Powerfab excavators.

Did a file test and it just skated off of the pin, guessing its hardened as well? Thought pins were supposed to be slightly softer than the bushes

They look promising, 30mm is nearly 36.. not up on my bushes though. Would a steel/bronze/ptfe bush be up to the load? (Main boom)

Oops, I thought I sent you the link to 40mm. They are there!

I'm no expert but I would have thought so.

Edit: Ah, I've just tried that link and you need to select the dimensions form the drop downs. 32 ID, 36 OD and 40 long are there. Easy enough to cut down.

I’ve got no hardened steel bushings in with a 32mm bore.

The wall thickness/OD youve mentioned wouldn’t be suitable for a hardened bush, you would have to go down the DU or DX bush route

Thanks for having a look, I'll order some from the above link and give it a shot. At least now there are options I feel confident enough to run a bead of weld round the old ones and chap them out, see what they are really made of!

Turns out they are PAP 3240 p10 bushes! Just assumed they would be hardened, soft as cheese. Didn't even need to weld, just folded over the ends and beat them out with the old pin now need to research exactly what a pap 3240 p10 is...
Should probably start a build thread to keep track of these parts

The bush will be softer than both the arm it fits in and the pin as it's the sacrificial part. Soft as 541t and cheap as .... Hopefully!

Indeed, from the look of the makeup they are the same as the DU bushes previously mentioned. Only a fiver each and not too hard to change, interestingly the pin had actually worn as well as the bushes!
Took king post pin out today, its the same but bigger. 5060 DU bush £8 each, be rude not to change them
