Thanks @Milo1 tonight i have found there is a thick cotton like filter under the inlet side cover on the vacuum lock off , the first of the two round units the gas gets to before the trottle, a row of 10 torx head bolts on the cover , filter under it with a steel mesh backing, a good build up of dirt there, nice to see, i took it outside and blew it out with an airline lots of nasty stuff came out, put it back together and she runs much better , holding idle well ,and id say almost right. I will get a new filter/ rebuild kit for it if the test drive goes well. Without any visual clue to there being a filter somewhere id neved had guessed , many petrol cars today only rely on the sock on the fuel pump in the tank. Id imagined lpg to being clean for some reason.
