Did mine and this morning there was a frost, all I got from her in doors was"I told you it was to earl
Well I`ve spiked it which was hard work and next I will scarify, maybe in a week or two?Yep, did it last week with cutters at max height. And if you're really keen, it's a good time to go moss-killing with some ferrous sulphate, but try pick a day when you might get 24 hours without any rain.

I used Miracle Grow. Makes it grow like mad. Nice and green though!Lazy boy!
The second cut on Saturday. It will need cutting weekly until it starts growing strongly, then 3 times a fortnight. Twice weekly if I'm daft enough to give it a spring feed!
The grass was dry enough but it is still a little soggy underfoot.
Did it's first cut on Sunday
Heard good reports about this stuff, might give it a go myselfToo early for up here [well, imo], we've had a few nights of quite hard frost this past week.
I've just ordered this, having read good reports from folk I have faith in

These last few years I've found the whole scarifying/cleaning up/bagging etc thing a bit much [both physically & time-wise] and thought I'd give it a try. If it works as claimed it'll be a Godsend.

I do just the reverse: I talk nicely to the moss and hope it will grow quickly and take over the rest of the lawn around the house.Yep, did it last week with cutters at max height. Would be good if you could advise results.Heard good reports about this stuff, might give it a go myself
