That’s the problem I’ve tried all my local trailer shops and none sell anything suitable as it’s a 3” box and a total weight of 2300lbsmost motor factors will sell unbraked hitches.
you might have to plate + redrill, though.

Yeah I know the 750 limit but the trailer I think will have been made before the limit and it’s a American trailer which also explains it?
unbraked trailers are limited to 750kgs max (on road).
the hitch i linked is rated to 2.75T (off road), and bolts to the top of any size box/plate.

PS: I dont think theres a date before whence >750kgs unbraked trailers are legal on the road.
I think you're risking a *lot* if you use it, loaded, on the road.
Or unloaded as the trailer plate will still be over 750kg.

No I know that but it’s unbreaked because it was made before the rules and the trailer will only be used for point a to b which is caravan to launch all on private property so all good therePS: I dont think theres a date before whence >750kgs unbraked trailers are legal on the road.

Nah no plate but that’s probably because it’s American and they don’t have limits like us I am also surprised at the weight of it as I would have thought it was well under but according to the internet a sea ray 170 signiture weighs 1700lbs dry without the trailerid arsumed the "pre-date"/"US" bit meant no plate.
Won’t fit in the garden or shed as the trailer is best part of 20ft total lengthBorrow a 16ft tilting trailer or something with ramps, and go pick up and sort it at home
