Pick a dry day and do it outside, practice on a scrap piece of equivalent hard wood, take a little off at a time and preferably get a spare pair of hands to help. couple of saw benches and some wooden bearers to help handle the doors.
Inside a door lifter or as said above those little air bags can help.
I think an electric planer is better, but with care.
If you had one door then a hand plane but with a house full, if you don't want to buy an electric planer perhaps borrow one and return with a new set of blades (£8). Mind I've never fitted a new set so don't know if its straightforward.
Don't use an impact driver to fit the screws! Maybe electric drill with clutch correctly set and then final tweak by hand.
