Depends how tight a bend you want
No but it needs to be some size of shed for that lengthIt doesnt need to be that tight a radius.

Assuming a typo
Its not hard to build a press for that width folding, you may get away with modifying a 20ton press if you got creative with the tooling.
Bob
That thing I made from odds and sods will fold 1/2"
Thanks for that, I had been thinking of trying something like that, now need to buy a 20 ton press.
Have a quick squint at this https://www.mig-welding.co.uk/forum/threads/home-made-press.66666/
If the tooling is bolted/held in a thick piece of steel with guide rollers down both sides it cant cock and bend the ram if the works is not central.
Bob
You will need about 20 to 30 tonnes per m to form a half decent rad
Have a search for air bending press brake chart
This metal folding carry on can soon gets a bit technical
Sure its a 40t press at the door of agriparts, price to match though between £600-700 if my memory serves me right
20 tonnes should about do it for a fairly baggy fold.
Things like bottom die openings, top punch radius, die edge radius, grain direction of the material all have bearing on the tonnage required.
I'm now thinking I'll keep getting my usual guy to do it, give him the metal, tell him the angle I want it bend to and it appears back all done.
