Video Door bell any good ?

I had one that cost even more than that and I now have a ring. Ring is not perfect but if it gets stolen it gets replaced. BUT is also better picture quality and the app is better wifi is less laggy.
With the type you posted up the person at the door has probably long gone before it even reaches your network. Just my two pennies worth and I dont spend money easily (unless its on the forum) lol

i went to a house with one other day. just walked up to it at one side and pressed the button so it hardly did any good cos they couldnt see me

Wouldn't work here. PIR light gets the whole front soon as someone steps on view both cameras fire up.

we got the ring cams and i can open the door put the trash out and be in the house before the mrs phone tinkles

i have 5 cameras round my house along with active infrafred beams on drive and pir floodlights it does alert me of an intruder but alas the cameras cant see through a balaclava and the intruder can expect a 14 lb hammer shaft if he hangs around
