But really.. well impressed with the cheapo workzone saw, chomped through quick and when it reached the web it just breezed down, shame didn't have the capacity to go through in one go so had to flip it - *astard heavy stuff on your own!





Take this scraggy end off then I'm left with a 20" section to play with, and over 4ft for another day

unless you fancy a big pair of balls and a hernia dont go there theres .loads round me and the shortest is 10 foot long . about 4 foot more than can be carried i should have asked bruv inlaw to get me some when he worked on the tracks as foreman

I've got bullhead profile, the 2ft ish length just cut is about 22kg, do the maths



If you want to borrow these lifting tongs let me know so I can take pics of you lifting 1/4 mile of the stuff

Have a ponder on whether bandsawing so close to the flame cut edge will go through a heat-affected zone with some blade-destroying metallurgical properties.

I do it with a slightly older machine. Takes around 30mins for my rapidor to go through a track.

put some rocol cutting compound on it and press on the bow on the cutting stroke it helps it get a mush on

The beauty of a rapidor (if you excuse the irony of the name) is that you dont need them to cut quick.

I've used mine after 10pm in a residential area and my neighbours would have never heard a whisper.

@Gragson Could very easily make money! I paid £140 delivered for this... gave up trying to get hold of a smaller anvil with a flat surface so bit the bullet.
