Please recommend a Welding Blanket

Not for welding but similar environment !

I need to protect some rubber 'Brewers Hoses' from possible hot metal splashes in my foundry. These hoses carry heavy duty cables and cooling water between the 'Induction Furnace Driver' and the 'Furnace Body' where the crucible is.

Theoretically they are out of the danger zone but sometimes sparks fly !

I reckon a 4 foot by 6 foot would be adequate - needs to be flexible (the crucible tilts) and reading the descriptions of fibreglass ones on eBay they are only 0.6 mm thick - sounds more like a sheet than a blanket !!!!

So what's out there that reasonably beefy but not horrendously expensive?

I buy welders blanket off the roll at £5/m at the local industrial supply. Good as any. Works well for burning too as long as you don’t fire slag straight at it

That would be my plan as well, get some material and some high temp thread like kevlar and stitch up a very basic hemmed tube. Wouldn't fall off then

Not much heavy industry round here - no industrial supply places that I'm aware of - any on line sources of this wonder material as that price sounds very attractive !

The e glass stuff is tighter weave than I get.

I thought I'd found the ideal one in your link, then I discovered it was stainless wire reinforced - no good with high frequency currents down my hoses !

Which one is the one in your picture James as they seem to have a myriad of choices !
