Theyve been around for years.
Wouldn't bother frankly.
Whats wrong with a tight fitting socket?
Amateur rubbish...
I keep one in the emergency tool box in the car & it's got me out of trouble a couple of times but I can't imagine it would take much abuse!
Best tip I got given for carrying tools on a bike is to work out what sizes you need and just use them. I did it with off road bike and then same with camper van. You’d be amazed how much space you save.Nothing at all and I'd love to carry all sizes of them but when space is tight, on a bike for example, it could just do the job whilst at the side of the road.
but it may get you out of a jam.
Well I suppose that if it gets you out of a hole in an emergency it has served it's purpose.

I hate the word universal. its normally on car parts that are a crap fitAs my mate says, universally fits sod all.
I had one of the original Gator Grip tools too which was used occasionally, not as good as the correct sized socket but usable to get AF / W bolts from old installs when all the sockets I carry are metric. It was called Gator Grip when it originally came out.
I have one in my big tool box in my van its decent quality and maybe 20 years old it gets used from time to time on things that have been abused.
I suspect the cheap copies are probably ****e but mines been ok.
