Hi,
We have a good range of skills on this forum so I reckon there are some who use these daily so what are the best value automatic wire strippers for use on vehicle electrical wiring?
Thanks,
Anton
I have the style illustrated in the previous post and they work OK except when you have short wires emerging from (say) a wall box. This is because the cutters have to be at 90 degrees to the wire.
Left hander here so front facing ones are probably the best for me.
I've always liked this style

in the 35 years I have been in the electrical industry, I have found nothing to beat this type, and I was a panel wireman for may years, and still have the original pair.
there.good for stripping outer core on flat twin and earth 1.0mm and 2.5mm on loose cables but no good on fixed wiring in to socket or switch boxes as u cant cut the sheath far enough inI've always liked this style
