Not keen on Fosters B.S, too sweet for me. I do like some of the East European pilsners & lagers though.

I was the same, still got the brewing tackle though. I used to have 3 barrels on the go at a time, didn't know what day it was sometimes

Bought some Carling, I too am fixed for Christmas and beyond

I stopped brewing & didn’t make any for about 30 years, then one day I spotted the barrels in the shed & thought why not. They had been put on the shelf still with the old yeast in the bottom, but they cleaned up ok.

Not fussy what beer it is, try all sorts, but always buy the all malt kits, dearer but in my opinion worth spending the extra over the added sugar ones.

I hope the idiots don't start panic buying and clearing the shelves at Aldi again. I get 6 bottles of Hobgoblin a week (wife drinks it as well) but they rationed it to 4 per visit last lockdown so I had to make 2 trips

Rightly so as this nation cant behave like rational people anymore...If it was the Titanic again then 75% of the country's men would have lipstick on and wearing skirts leaving the vulnerable to start swimming.
