No, not me. I can sympathise with your dad trying not to buy a floor - at around £600 if I recall they aint cheap. But two half floors and a tunnel must be close on £400?
Oh - btw, you have to seam weld the joints between tunnel and floors - mot reasons as well as strength? And moisture ingress.

We wish we had bought a floor but we bought the floor halves about six months ago so was too late to send them back so we just had to get on with it , I've welded every two inches on the tunnel does it have to be fully welded ? Thanks for the info.

Magnum are now making a full mk1 floor from a single pressing.

The m machine ones are the 3 pieces that are spot welded together.

All the floors I've fitted that are 3 pcs I've stitch welded and have been fine for mot.

Need to be careful if you are expecting a proper floor pressing. This is the pickup floor i got many many years ago (still sat in a container ) and was a bit miffed that it was just a welded together thing, can't remember what it cost but not cheap! From m machine btw

We've got the exact same floor for our mini pickup from m machine but ours isn't stitch welded just spot welded. I know they are not cheap

Yes they wouldn't know it wasn't seam welded fully once it been sealed and painted. I've just spot welded and then put a bead every two inches

I see, just looked up when the photo was taken, 2010... maybe they have changed their process in the past decade! really need to do something with that pickup... magnum pressing sounds intriguing

The magnum pressing is a saloon floor only so won't fit your pickup without cutting and welding in the extension piece

I've still got 8 or nine volumes of those, in binders, up in the attic. Probably from about 1980 onwards. Can't bring myself to disposing of them!
