Folks.
"Bread and butter" work at the new job is delivering bricks and blocks to construction sites around this green and pleasant land, and with winter on its way most of them bear a passing resemblance to Paschendale in 1916
.
To avoid having soggy feet, can anyone recommend decent steel toe cap boots and waterproof over-trousers? Boot wise, lace ups with high ankles and probably a Goretex membrane are what I'm after. Not rigger boots as Armageddon will arrive if I wear those
. Trouser wise, something that's hi-viz and preferably breathable.
As I'm no longer on the hiab I won't be spending all day stood in the mud, but my existing Dealer boots simply aren't up to the job. I have a fabulous Goretex Goretex hi-viz jacket that was kindly donated by a previous employer
, but I need boots and trousers to make the winter more bearable. Work will provide me with boots but I'm happy to buy my own, and I have no problems with buying decent gear at whatever it costs.
Much thanks as always.
Man try
