Is it worth doing welding courses for certificates. I’m 19 and can weld good with stick and mig but I would also like to learn proper techniques and maybe tig, or is it better to do an apprenticeship cheers
I'm a fitter but did the evening courses to get to asme 9 in stick, mig and tig, and that was good enough for anywhere i went to work. A lot of guys who try pass themselves off as welders, are what i were told should be called "Mig drivers".
Courses are either free right now or just cost £150 thats level 1 and 2, im doing my mma lvl 1 then going on to lvl 2 for this exact reason !Is it worth doing welding courses for certificates.
