im struggling to understand your post here?600kg load lol
Your C take you to about 32,000kg but I bet you took it in a vehicle weighing less than half that.

600kg load? Sorento could tow 2.6ton trailer was weighbridge'd at 400kg unladen. meaniing it could (and did ) take a mk1 discovery legally.
Who told you that crap?
no i didnt i havent taked about the legalitys of the test at all.
i said that picture the car (which was full of crap making it heavy) put the weight of the trailer at 500kg below what the car could legally tow..
edit, you got it, i typed this whilst you where editing.
I was told that because for some reason I never had trailer entitlement on my licence despite being old enough it doesn't carry over when you give up your HGV license. That was from EP training when we were having a chin wag with the guy running the drivers CPC course.

Just after Henry Ford went into production. When did you pass the car test?
There's not many advantages of being old but grandfather's rights are one of them. I can drive a 7.5ton truck and pull a 3.5ton trailer behind my van.
RANT MODE ON
That is the old way.
Now ADI's should be teaching far more, sadly some dont still but it is improving.
The main reason its only getting better slowly is PARENTS.
PARENTS actually care more about money than their kids.
They think that you can learn to drive in 5 to 10 hours.
Any more & the ADI is ripping you off.
Roads are different & people are different.
Number one question we get asked?
HOW MUCH to pass.
Rant over.
I also find it rather ironic that my 6x6 can carry more payload than a 7.5t lorry if you don't have a C+E license. Takes 2t (payload) on the rear and plated for an additional 4t behind it.

Sorry is that the door?...
I should think price depends on capabilities of student and willingness to listen And learn ,amazes me people will spend £xxxx on the latest all singing dancing phone , yet something that will stand them in good stead for possibly a life time they will skimp on, which in turn means their lifetime might well be some what shorter along with others they involve..

only if you have current cpc and operators license
12 tonne combination with minibus isn't it ?You can tow more behind the car or a 17 seat minibus![]()
agreedTo an extent yes but you still need actual physical experience / hours in the hot seat.
The ones that do well also tend to have access to another vehicle.
