Bosch grinders-is blue still the professional range?

Does anyone know what the situation is these days in respect of the colour coding of the Bosch 115 mm angle grinders?
Many years ago I made the error of buying one of the green ones only to discover that these were their “domestic range”, and sure enough it did not last long.

The next time I went for one of the blue ones (considered to be their professional range) and it went on and on. Great motor, original brushes after several years. That one has recently been stolen, and I am going to buy another Bosch grinder.

Does anyone know if ALL the blue ones are still the professional range machines? I don’t want to drop a b*****k and end up with a diy model. Most of the ones online that I have seen are blue.

Also, with the passing of time, the motors that they are putting in them (champion?) seem to be getting bigger. Alright in respect of extra power and lasting longer but it all adds to the weight. (That is what deters me with the 9” grinders).

yea ITS BLUE alright i recently bought a new 115mm bosch , only about £40 made in germany , some were saying on here that they had chinese ones , maybe they were the green ones
maybe some blue are chineses some german

I bought a blue Bosch cordless drill a while back, it came with a free torch (also blue) that used the same 14.4v batteries.
The drill was made in germany, the torch in China

Most of our grinders are blue bosch - all fairly new. The grinders themselves are fine, but we have changed the leads on nearly every one. They are quite flexible rubber leads meaning the conductors break very easily just where they enter the tool where they are subject to flexing, bending etc. Other than that they seem to manage in an industrial environment

About 50% of ours are blue bosch also, the 125mm models though. Cant really fault them, apart from the leads break easily.
The top edges have broken off the gearboxes on 2, dropped from a fair height on to their backs.
The pro range is Blue, and incase anyone is colourblind, the model numbers start with 'G' where as the toy ones start with a 'P'

Hehe, G is for GOOD, P is for PUT BACK ON SHELF QUICKLY!!!!

Always liked Makita myself....good stuff!

never liked bosch myself, always thought makita to be the best imho
