RAL`s for tools. machines etc

Does anyone here have a useful list of RAL numbers for tools and machines? Things like vices and Roper punches. Quite a few bits and pieces will be going in the cleaning tank that I would like to paint/restore.

Little to no paint on some of this stuff Robin, eg the two Swindons, one has no paint and the other a coat of silver applied with a broom, the roper punch has a coat of ferrous oxide Lots of other gear to attack and thought I may as well paint them the right colour.

Way I looked at it. It's my machine. I'm using it. I paint it a color I like. Not a fan of dingy grey/green machines

I tried for years all over the place to get a ral code for the red/brown colour on iveco daily chassis (06ish) to no joy , anoying when you would just prefer to do something as per factory

myford grey hasn't one coulda saved 18 quid a ltr if it had . 90 percent of colours im not bothered about but the lathe is in mint condition and a shame to spoil it

I was buying paint for the Jones and Shipman 540 i have in the summer, i had a little cover off it that i had compounded to get the colour as good as i could. Took it to the paint suppliers and they spent ages trying to match it, the closest they could get was an old DAF colour. They were telling me a lot of colours simply do not have a ral number.

If every colour had a RAL (or pantone) number, BASF + Sun Chemical would not have paid me a significant salary for a large number of years to match colours for them.

just managed to make a cream colour out of yellow and white paint I already have to paint between the bed on the myford without forking out 15 quid
