can they be cleaned ?
mine looks like this at least near i dont mind buying a new one but would like to get more out the old as well
Some of them are designed to be regenerated , but you need to br sure or it melts
does your foam come out ?
as that can be replaced if not it maybe a full unit to get instead
if that is fairly heavy and thick it will be a charcoal filter and has to be replaced when dirty theres normaly a fine paper type filter in the lid underneath it
Just cut it up and glue back together
if the hood is vented to outside it don't require the charcoal filter
what about cleaning the paper/fabric meterial ?
these are the throw away filters fitted to all of them weather external or just recycle the air it keeps the charcoal filter grease freehttps://www.yourspares.co.uk/parts/ys78694/universal-cut-to-size-cooker-hood-filter-with-indicator-UFIXT-1-000355.aspx?utm_source=google&utm_medium=shopping&utm_campaign=Google%2BProducts&gaw=agid:15610366997,c:46671262037&gclid=EAIaIQobChMIhICZk_GB7AIViM_tCh3kCwVTEAQYAyABEgKIKfD_BwEThat might be cheaper to replace than the charcoal (fish stuff again possibly) or even washable.
that's the greasemines glued to it
Just cut a hole in the wall and vent into next doors
that's the grease
