Filling files

How do you lads & lasses keep your files tidy and to hand? My collection is about to expand significantly when I get handles on the box of 16 x 10" ones I bought through a link someone here posted [for RS Components iirc] - I ordered them to get to the 'free carriage' offer on something else.
Here's my current set-up, which is less than ideal . Initial thought is to make a strap or two across the inside of a cupboard with tool clips, the problem being finding suitable space clearance behind the door.

Strip of wood screwed to the wall and bang nails in to sit them in. Simple and quick

Bottom drawer of my toolbox, along with hammers and chisels;

Good enough for worn out old files, I'd be a bit more careful if I had any new ones. My chisels always come out blunt too.

Mine are in a drawer, 36"x18" and that's full, the needle files and diamond files live in a couple of boxes in another drawer.

Mine all have a hole in the handle, so hang on the tool board.

Or they did before I moved house, I have no idea where they even are nowadays.

I clean my files after use some maybe that's why?

I do the same. A quick brush with a brass bristle brush after use.

I clean mine too. Mr Tait or old metal work teacher took a dicky if you didnt

Chucked in a roll cab drawer, rattling around with chisels, punches and prybars.
