Panel wiped, checked humitity, 52%, shaking the can, felt a spot. Massive black cloud coming over the house

Sun came out, all set up for another go, mask on, 65%. Drizzle and more clouds..

Finally blue sky. And some cockups. First its a larger can than Im used to, and one place scraped the first layer with bottom of can
I'd not removed all the old paint and in places it has sunk? and cracked. Im hoping next coat will fix it?

I had another crack at forming the side caps for my silencer and added a little more meat to the ends. I used a MAP torch and a rawhide hammer this time and they came out really nicely.

I also rolled the main body that they’ll attach to.

A very handy gutter ladder ,so you don’t have to parade all over the roof when tying and unloading,the wood grips and protects the paint,plus it fits each roof bar position.

I made a cheap side blast forge, less than 20 euros:

Burn in with wood done I try some coke and this time I try with a hair dryer, before it was just natural aspiration

Pile is shriveling up fast because it was probably half charcoal and that goes fast

I got it hot enough to hammer a bend in some steel though. Some initial thoughts is if the pit is too big sideways. I am not sure if the air intake is too low down or not. Considering adding a brick on the opposite side of the hole to make the pit narrower.

Coke smoke doesn't smell too bad, not much smoke either even when starting it up.

It is great to wax metal, wood and when warm gives of a pleasant smell.

Mix it with white spirit for a a wood and metal polish, you can add pigments to get a different shade.

Mix it with teak oil, warm or cold for a metal polish.

Mix it with metal dust and you have a small metal filler.
