The problem with Nicola Tesla's world wide electricity web was the impossibility of metering the user's consumption!
When Calderhall was opened back in the 50's, one of the claims was electricity would be so unbelieveably cheap, that it wouldn't be worth metering ! It hasn't worked out like that mind.
