how thicks that plate , looks a bit cold / too much wire . although looking at the end craters its prob just lack of power and having to wait for things to happen , tell us more about the plate and the power ,, have you a selection of plate to play with .
I forget to say that i have 220volt power source (not 120volt)whats the back of the plate looking like ,,, try a wee bit less wire and have a go at a joint , your off to a great start.

If your welding inside you could get away with 14 or 12 your runs look quite good keep practicing padding beads and then start filling up a tee plate
Tnx, i will do for sureIMO, They are pretty good for 0.03 inch wire, the first one is a bit cold though. If your machine allows it, try to add and extra 1 or 2 Volts.
