Wood fibre insulation board

Does anyone know a source in the UK of 1/2" wood fibre insulation board? I need to repair some sections of roofing that have been water damaged.

The stuff we have is 1/2" thick, one side is pre-painted in white. It's quite light weight, soft wood fibre board. I have no idea where it came from originally, but the whole of the inside of our house is lined in this stuff. Mainly because my old man couldn't plaster and was on a tight budget.

It's widely available in 9 mm at most builders merchants - sometimes known as pin board.

Widely used just after the war as a plaster board substitute to repair bomb damaged houses. The ceiling of my first house (1973) was full of it (Lewisham SE London)

that would do the job, but the thinnest they do is 40mm. I need 12mm... Ours is used as a plasterboard alternative.

I think Sundaela board is the stuff we have on the roof, it's not exactly heavy duty

We had a load of that in our eaves cupboards, I had to get rid of some to get access & burnt it. I was staggered how inflamable the stuff was. Ended up ripping the lot out & replacing with plasterboard
