These are really handy for little workshop fires, not going to deal with something established but good for those moments like the gaffer tape example above. Best bit is they wipe up easily after use and are non toxic. Before certain people say it, no it's not a substitute for a proper extinguisher but good for those moments that don't justify the mess of a proper one.

I've still for one that is attached to one of the carport poles "just in case" as many years ago a Mini I was welding a new sill had seam sealant catch fire. It wouldn't go out with a spray of water so I had to rush into the house and get the kitchen powder type. It saved the car and despite the mess I'm glad the powder was handy otherwise the whole car could have gone up. Yes - CO2 is best but powder better than nothing and a good standby in case the CO2 doesn't work
