AA chap was saying they get more bike punctures in the rain for some unknown reason?

Yep, drivers less keen to change the wheel in the wet. Call out the rescue services, they in turn think there are more punctures in the wet due the rise in call outs![]()

I picked up a screw in one of my Winters, luckily it was positioned where a repair was possible.Looks like my tyre last year.... Both legs went right through so it couldnt be repaired.

got an 1/8th drill and put a row of holes each side of slit and laced it back together with orange nylon chord
stuck a big patch on the inside and a new innertube
ran it for 5 races and then it was worn out needless to say the patch held even though the tire got redhot and scuffed tailing the car out
