but they do look good
You are just being negativeSo looking for a 7 seater that's cheap, reliable, does about 45 mpg, easy to fix when it goes wrong.
Any particular colour too?
Reckon you are going to have to compromise on some of that.

Thats perfection sadly very poor on fuel.
I get 45MPG now and whilst I do realise its going to go down thats too much of a drop

LR might have beat the living tar out of them but as for redesignMotor manufacturers mustn't actually test stuff anymore ? Build a prototype and hammer the living tar out of it around mountains or bogs and on the roads. See where it fails and redesign or improve it.
I feel its got to be van based, I would love a T5 but out of budget, the T4,s I have seen had more miles on than the Starship enterprise.
V70 is 7 seat too...but I think the OP is looking for what I would call a natural 7 seater.
I'm guessing it will have to be a van derived mpv. The 2 rear seats in my V70 will only fit kids...and even then it takes a lot of persuading!
Unicorn white...I'll have to remember that one...I'm still laughing![]()
I have had several V70 petrol estate cars - the 2.4 petrol VW based engine is the best of the lot.
These thou are getting - thin on the ground now.
only issue they have rear facing seats.
There is an old boy down the road who has a Toyota starlet, 1990 and its perfect and reliable, but i hear the newer Japanese cars are not lasting like they used to ?
only had 3 cars 7 seater
2 zafiras
1 ford galaxy
the zafiras where good 43 mpg ideal as most of the time i was the only person in the car going to work but did fit 7 people in but both died of fuel pump at a cost of £2000 plus
the galaxy was a good car but big for me on my own and was nice to drive again about 40mpg
I just let my 2.4 go for banger racing.. it was getting frequent faults, drank petrol, and the steering was horrible, heavy with a very large turning circle. My last Volvo, never again.I have had several V70 petrol estate cars - the 2.4 petrol VW based engine is the best of the lot.
