a good reminder about PPE ,,, theres always bits flying off those , usually not all at once though.
work well on cordless grinders , as they spin slower , but they are hard on batteries .I only use them on a corded drill now
Luckily I had all the gear on, coveralls, safety glass and heavy gloves, or it could have been very painful.......I use an old angle drill for wire brushesI only use them on a corded drill now
I made an adapter to put 8" bench grinder wire wheels on y 7" angle grinder when they have worn down a bit. Also have one for soft-bristle 5" wire wheels on my 5" grinder and they are fantastic for cleaning up lightly rusted bits without damaging the surface.
You have to wear gloves and goggles and overalls/apron though and you still get wires stuck in your clothes.
