Hi guys, do any of you use pumice as a blasting media ? Because it’s not that hard Is it any good as general cleaning media or is it solely for cleaning wood ?
can u get a load cheap, if not cant see the point with all the different types of media available . is it just fine powderHi guys, do any of you use pumice as a blasting media ? Because it’s not that hard Is it any good as general cleaning media or is it solely for cleaning wood ?
is it powder or granules. if powder it wont work well in a blast pot and just block up in the valve .if u want to test it get a plastic bottle cut the bottom of it and drill a 6 0r an 8mm hole in the lid and fill it up .if it flows easily without stopping it will work if it bridges and stops it wontI have acquired 1 ton of it and it’s never been used and best of all it was free

worth a try in a pressure pot at 90psiIt’s granules buddy. We are based next to a transport company and they asked if we knew anyone that wanted it. The stuff was not accepted by a customer when made a delivery with it. it’s been dry stored and there appears to be nothing wrong with it
are the granules small anything bigger than 1.0mm will be 2 much for a cheap pot with a 3mm jetas long as it flows like an egg timer without blocking should work well try some in a bottleIt’s like fine sand![]()
