they are doing that , as they wont do it in a defender , and a series is no better through the air ,,, 55 would be more realistic , after that the fuel curve goes near vertical ,, Ive owned a few and wouldnt dream of doing seventy in any of them ,, now my 5.7 overfinch range rover was a different kettle of fish ,,,
I was happy driving it, wasnt over stretched fuel was good about 30mpg
In the past ive done very long journeys in it. I've had that engine in it for about 6 years
In my first 2.25 i would over take defenders on a run with the over drive in
