Hi All
I recently bought a fan off another member here. Really good bit of kit which is wall mounted with 2x inlets inside the room and an outlet through the wall. Sucks like a sucky thing which is great.
I would like to use it on a downdraft for the plasma table, so thats one input taken care of, and I'll probably put a short duct on if anything at all on the other side.
So, heres the bit I'm after pointers on. Ideally I'd like to do it by the book, or as close to the book as possible. Is there some sort of code governing outlets through walls etc? Its in my workshop at home but technically its a work setting. The wall I anticipate discharging through goes onto a sheep field which is largely disused, however its not mine. I'll put a cowl over the outlet directing everything down. Not sure what you call it but all the cowsheds have them. Has it got to be a minimum height from the floor?
The inlet from the downdraft is straight forward enough, I've a few metres of flue liner which I was going to use as its non flamable and light. Do I need a filter / Spark arrestor (Do I just make one?!) or anything inline? The downdraft isnt built yet but will be a basic upside down pyramid with the out take in one of the faces near the point rather than vertically below the cutter.
Any advice would be welcome but a source of something I can refer to would be even better. Thanks
