That looks like a serious lump of compact steel

Weighs more than I 1ton engine crane wanted when I tried to unload it... ended up jacking the back of the van up... taking the weight with the crane then dropping the Jack's and driving away

Now that's a nice one, I am prejudiced but I think this is the best lathe in this size.
Was wondering if these were ever sold in the UK.

Found and translated from a dutch site:
Incidentally, a belt is fairly easy to replace, you take out the rear bearing bush (which contains the ball bearings) (you can press it with 2 or 3 m6 bolts from the fixed head) and you have to loosen the left fork. then you have just enough space to put the v-belt around it.
It's if you're a little handy in half to an hour of work ;-)

Took me a bit longer.... dropped the fork in the bottom and lost a bit.... but all done and back together now

I have one of these and it is a really well made machine. Mine was missing the original 3 speed 3 phase motor and is currently running a single speed, single speed motor but is still pretty handy with only 6 speeds.

I found that copy of the manual linked above as well but it is missing the parts drawing of the apron and the first page of the parts list (page 25 & 25-1).
I have attached copies of these - if you need to get into the apron for any reason it is quite complicated and that parts diagram is well worth having.
