Lidl socket set

if you do any work on big stuff this set might be of interest .... I bought one on impulse went in for cheese

3/4 " down to 1/4" drive .

Bought one of their through socket sets (forgotten what the correct name for them is) a while ago, seems to do the job for the times you need.
Looks like good VFM to me.

I have three of their socket sets - bigger than the one pictured - each about £70. One is kept in each of the main cars and the other in the workshed and they are excellent - far different to the tools made of cheese Lidl used to sell in the late '90's!

The pattern of ratchet handle in those sets - slightly cranked head with respect to handle - is exactly the same as some my work paid the same money as that whole set is going for. They bought them a few months ago for a specialist kit.

Depending on the tractor, you probably wont have the right big sizes anyway, so in 3/4 drive what sizes are in the box

I don't think you can go wrong for that price, I can't fault the Lidl and Aldi stuff we have, I imagine buying a 41mm socket from Snap on etc?

Unless you've shifted it on already I'm surprised you need 3/4". Not saying it's not useful mind.

And big toys - it wasn't big enough for my needs

Tbh the vast majority of tractor fixings are bellow 24mm they just have lots of them it's more often big box spanners I find in the gearbox and hubs

I'm working just now , will have a look when I'm home .... not a huge range of 3/4sockets but iirc there's imperial sockets in all the drive sizes as well as metric ...

I'm going to have to check Lidl tommorow, I bought a set a couple of weeks ago, I'd buy that just for the 3/4 ratchet, and sockets.

Then my other 3/4 inch kit can go on the wall on a nailboard, so I can find it.
