It [was] part of a nitrogen filling jig for servicing Marzocchi rear MTB dampers, I built about 25yrs ago. Cant for the life of me remember what it was, something I’ll of picked up, just remember it machined well.

Deffo Bronze with that swarf.

I've only seen ally bronze chip like that, phosphor bronze IME doesn't string.

The colour reminds me of ally bronze too but that's nothing to go on with a photo.

I'll have turn get a picture up of my swarf bin then, just been machining some bronze for a project; swarf looks just like the Ops, it's not Aluminium Bronze.

I've only ever machined phosphor and aluminium bronze.

Too yellow in my opinion

I would say Aluminium Bronze.
