today i did my first patch panel on a car
went very well...better than expected , after grinding it barely needs any filler if at all
one slight niggle ...i looked from behind facing the sun , there was a couple of tiny holes letting light through..smaller than a pin prick almost nothing
i decided that rewelding those would make the panel rather thin after a second round of grinding , i painted both sides with zinc primer and it readily covered all holes
my question...did i do right ? are the slightest of pin holes a concern to bodywork if i can paint both sides of the repair
