Finally got round to fitting the alloy pushrod tubes to cure a top end oil leak, so top end strip:
Top end off new seals to give correct squish and gaskets greased for reassembly:
Head torqued down and valve clearances rest, .004" exhaust, .002" inlet:
My front mudguard has never sat correctly concentric with the wheel:
way too high at the front, tried adjusting without much luck, so £16 for a new rear bracket and got a front bacon slicer to go with itm(reg letters ordered)
sitting much better.
Petrol tank back on, fuel pipes connected:
Will see if it fires up tomorrow:
